Abstract

This research deals with the historical, doctrinal and iusnaturalist-constitutionalist perspectives, in relation to the direct vote as an option to appoint members of the Judiciary in Mexico, making an analysis of the operation and effects of this practice, which could be illusory, and contrary to the postulates of democracy emanating from the various principles and good practices established by these social disciplines. Likewise, each analysis operates according to the nature of the discipline, together with its sources, being historical documents, postulates, and even jurisprudence of international organizations.
