Abstract
The concept of “evidence” is described. The how of the valuation system in Mexican civil legislation is explained. The traditional evidentiary technique within civil trials is examined and the distribution of the evidentiary burdens of the parties is explored. As a main point, we reflect on the scope of the application of these evidentiary rules in terms of evidentiary balance.
